Welcome to Pylewell Estate

The Pylewell Estate is a beautiful, historic 1500 acres estate with outstanding views over the Solent. The Estate has been in the family of Lord Teynham for over 130 years and is proud to have played an important role in maintaining the beauty and character of this outstanding part of England.

At the end of 2007, we announced plans to convert the 18th century Pylewell Mill into a small number of mixed use offices for letting out to local, high quality businesses. The development involves the restoration and preservation of the mill and machinery, which is in compliance with the conditions of a Heritage Landscape Management Plan (HLMP), to which the Estate has agreed.

Significant progress has been made and we are also looking at ways of providing a site for a small number of affordable homes for local people within the boundaries of the Estate.
