Welcome to Pylewell Estate

The Pylewell Estate is a beautiful, historic 1500 acres estate with outstanding views over the Solent. The estate has been in the family of Lord Teynham for over 130 years and is proud to have played an important role in maintaining the beauty and character of this outstanding part of England.

At Pylewell, we have a number of very attractive buildings that sadly are now in a dilapidated state. In February 2008, the planning committee of the National Parks Authority granted us planning permission for the rebuilding and restoring of a number of these buildings.

We have already completed the very successful refurbishment and conversion of South Baddesley Village Hall, which is part of the estate, into the Montessori school.

We are now looking forward to the conversion of Pylewell Mill, the former sawmill, into very high quality office accommodation and Carter’s Farm into living and working accommodation. All these developments are designed specifically to maintain the character and beauty of the buildings throughout.
